One home, many screens
Samsung is using its Berlin exhibition to show connected technology across televisions, phones, computers and household appliances. The company presents AI as a way to simplify everyday tasks, with the Galaxy S26 FE and Galaxy Book6 alongside previews of future Bespoke AI washers.
For buyers, the important shift is from choosing one good device to evaluating a whole set of relationships. A feature that saves time when every component works together can become less persuasive if it requires replacing equipment that still does its original job well.
The monitor numbers need a second look
Samsung's August 27 Gamescom announcement identifies the Odyssey family as its 2027 lineup. It includes a 49-inch OLED G9, a 42-inch curved OLED G7, a 32-inch OLED G8 and the G6 advertised at 1,100Hz. A trade-show appearance should not be read as confirmation that every model is available to buy today.
Nor should one headline refresh-rate number decide a purchase. Resolution, supported operating modes, graphics-card capability and the games you actually play all belong in the comparison. A specification is an input to that decision, not a substitute for an independent test.
Our take: buy the benefit, not the ecosystem slogan
The strongest version of Samsung's argument is practical: less repeated setup and fewer interruptions between tasks. The weakest version asks customers to value connections they may never use.
Before spending, write down the specific improvement you want, check which current devices can participate and look for clear regional availability and support information.
