Accessibility

LUMACTA NEWS targets WCAG 2.2 Level AA and treats accessibility as a release requirement, while avoiding an unsupported claim of formal conformance.

Design baseline

  • semantic landmarks and one clear page title;
  • a skip link and visible keyboard focus;
  • native links, buttons, labels and menu disclosure state;
  • reflow from 320 px and at 200 percent zoom;
  • captions, credits, corrections and sources in reading order;
  • reduced-motion support and no information conveyed only by colour.

Testing

Automated checks support review but do not replace human testing. Keyboard-only navigation, VoiceOver with Safari and practical NVDA coverage remain required before public deployment.

Accessibility feedback

An accessibility concern should identify the public URL, the task that was blocked, the browser or assistive technology when known and a safe contact route. The issue receives human triage alongside other publication incidents.
